JetBlue set to inaugurate Fort Lauderdale-Providenciales in November

On Thursday, November 19th 2015 US carrier JetBlue will commence flight operations to Providenciales International Airport (PLS) from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL). JetBlue has taken the market by storm and has been rapidly expanding their routes since its inception.

JetBlue began selling seats on the new service back in June, and will employ an Embraer E190 jet on the route. The new route demonstrates JetBlue’s commitment to expansion in the Caribbean, and the airline now offers flights to more than 40 destinations from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood.

The inaugural flight from Fort Lauderdale to the Turks and Caicos Islands shores which is almost fully booked, is expected to operate not just this winter season, but on a daily basis for the foreseeable future.

The Chairman and Executives of the Airports Authority stated “we welcome this new JetBlue flight and look forward to building on this partnership for many years to come”.

JetBlue has been a fixture at PLS with flights to Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK). For more information on this flight, persons can visit to book a seat.
